How many times, as a mother, have you worried about your children? Worried to the point that you struggle to sleep?

Recent struggles with my adult daughter led to this painting....I'd climbed out of bed, unable to sleep. As I softly tiptoed into the kitchen, a vase a flowers, lit up by the moonlight coming through the window, caught my eye. Extraordinarily dramatic in it's new light, I was captivated and eager to recreate it the next day.

If you didn't know, the term "White Nights" refers to sleepless nights.
